5. Will the Timberwolves get offensive production out of anyone else on their bench besides Jamal Crawford?

The good news is Jamal Crawford leads the bench in scoring with 10 points per game. The bad news is no other bench player averages more than 6.5 points per game.

This poor scoring effort by the Timberwolves is one of the main reasons Thibs feels the need to rely so heavily on his starters. Especially considering just about everyone in the starting lineup can create their own shot compared to only one guy off the bench.

If the Timberwolves want to advance to the second round and further come playoff time, they are going to need someone on their bench to step up.

The most likely candidate is Nemanja Bjelicas who is shooting 44.1 percent from downtown this season. He can be a major weapon if used properly and the one true outside shooting threat in the second unit. If he can begin to come into his own as a scorer, he can help take the Timberwolves to new heights.
