1. Avery Bradley

Surprise, surprise. Avery Bradley used to be a defensive darling, but his on/off numbers have been very perplexing over the last couple of seasons and many have begun to question his true defensive impact.

I’m not one of those many, however, as I believe he still possesses the skills to be a great defender in this league despite his diminutive stature.

At 6-foot-2, he can be a great slasher to the rim or can spot up on the outside and knock down threes at an above-average clip. Either way, he could provide a nice boost to a Timberwolves’ bench that lacks alternative scoring options.

He would be a bit redundant if Crawford sticks around next season, but even if he does stay the two could play together thanks to Bradley’s defensive versatility.

This season, he’s making $8.8 million so the Timberwolves could offer him about that same amount going forward which might be a nice lift for the veteran shooting guard.

Hopefully, Bradley, like the other players on this list, see the Timberwolves as a free agent destination this summer.
