Timberwolves Power Rankings: The man is back in Towns
7. Nemanja Bjelica (9)
Season stats: 15.8 MPG – 5.9 PPG – 3.2 RPG – 0.1 BPG – 49.5% FG – 44.1% 3PT – 85.2% FT
Weekly stats: 16.3 MPG – 4.3 PPG – 3.3 RPG – 0.3 BPG – 50% FG – 50% 3PT – 100% FT
It was an efficient week for Nemanja Bjelica, though his reluctance to shoot a high volume of attempts puts a ceiling on how good he can play on any given night.
The Serbian forward nailed a 3-pointer in each one of the three power ranking games, and sits with a mark that ranks him sixth overall in 3-point percentage. You would think this caliber of shooter would be hitting attempting more than 6 long range attempts over an important three game stretch.
I mean seriously … look at this range:

Bjelly started the week with a solid performance against the Bulls, registering seven points and eight rebounds. In fact, Bjelica was so handy that Minnesota were actually 16 points better than Chicago in the 21 minutes that the 29-year-old was on the court.
The former Euroleague MVP put up a pair of three-point outings in the Kings and Rockets games, grabbing a poultry three rebounds in the combined match-ups. The Timberwolves certainly need the Bulls version of Bjelly more often instead of the guy we saw in the final two games.
Let’s hope next week Nemanja Bjelica can find his confidence to try and take over games with his hot shooting.
