#7 – Nemanja Bjelica

Grade: C

5.7 points, 48.8 field goal percentage, 43.3 3-point percentage, 3.1 rebounds, 0.9 assists, 0.5 steals, 0.2 blocks

I would love to move Nemanja Bjelica higher up on this list, or even give him a higher grade. But, there are times where Bjelica looks really good and then there are times where he just looks lost and can’t get anything to fall.

One thing that has been really good for Bjelica this season has been his ability to shoot the ball from 3. This season, he’s shooting 43.3 percent from beyond the arc which is the best on the Wolves roster.

Bjelica is a player that rides off his confidence and when he’s not feeling too good, well … you can seriously tell. Usually he only struggles when he’s coming back from an injury. Last season, before he was injured late in the year, Bjelica was really finding his stride. The same went for this season before he went out with a foot injury.

He was a flamethrower from 3-point range in the month of October, averaging 57.9 percent from deep. Bjelica was even the top shooter in the league from beyond the arc before getting injured.

At times, we’ve seen some flashes of him breaking out to his old form and then there are times where he disappears.

It’s important for Bjelica to stay consistent and continue to shoot it from 3, because the Wolves are a team that struggles mightily from distance. Minnesota is obviously a lot better when he’s finding his stride.
