Shabazz Muhammad is completing his fifth season in the league and it may be his last. Tom Thibodeau had an opportunity to sign Bazz to a long-term contract last season and he then decided to take a pass.

Muhammad tested the free-agency market and didn’t’ find any takers. Thib’s signed Shabazz to a two-year contract with this season paying $1.5 million and next season player option for $1.7 million.

It’s been reported by Bleacher Report he’s asked to get out of his contract and that Timberwolves management and owners are willing to honor his request if he can find a team interested in his services.

His grade is DOWN and not worthy of dedicating too many words lamenting why but to wish him the best as we say goodbye.
