4. Grayson Allen, SG, Duke

Say what you want about him, but he’s still a solid player that would help Minnesota out a lot. We’re going to ignore some of his on-court issues and solely look at what he can do for your team, likely as a second-round pick.

For one, he’s a winning player with one of the most competitive attitudes you’ll see He won’t take a play off, makes clutch shots, gets his teammates involved and is always cheering his team on. Oh, and he shoots the lights out.

Minnesota would love to have his competitive attitude and his ability to shoot the 3-ball. He’s a career 38.3 percent 3-point shooter at Duke.

While his defense is solid due to his constant motor and will to win games, his biggest strength is his offensive game. His 37.7 percent from 3-point range this season is impressive, especially considering that he’s averaging 7.2 attempts per game. Two seasons ago, he averaged 41.7 percent on six attempts per contest.

He should continue to be a great offensive weapon at the next level. Like Thomas, Allen played with a current Timberwolf at the collegiate level, playing alongside Tyus Jones at Duke.

If we ignore some of the stuff he does on the court, Allen should be a successful player in the pros, and would become a fan favorite like he has done so at Duke University.
