After a saddening loss to the San Antonio Spurs, the Minnesota Timberwolves need clarity now more than ever.

Our key player last game was, Tyus Jones. Jones desperately needed saving in the three-guard lineup that Tom Thibodeau kept sending out there on the court. This probably isn’t the best time for Thibodeau to continue experimenting with the lineups, the Wolves are two losses away from being out of the playoffs (currently, sixth in the West).

The Wolves next opponent it’s not too shabby, the Houston Rockets. The Rockets have dismantled Minnesota all season. Houston currently leads the series, 3-0, and have defeated the Timberwolves by eighteen points in each match-up.

After all the negatives that transpired against the Spurs, we learned one thing from Wolves Twitter:

More from Timberwolves News

Minnesota Timberwolves fans lost their minds last night. They were disgusted by the three-guard lineup on the court. The lineup usually consisted of: Jeff Teague, Derrick Rose, and Jamal Crawford.

Derrick Rose seemed to be the contributing factor to a horrible plus/minus and an extremely low net rating. In fact, Rose has had the worst plus/minus and net rating of any player on the Timberwolves this season – although, Rose has only played in three games.

Rose still looks like the cog of every horrendous lineup that Thibodeau has created. Take a deep breath Wolves fans, Rose is not the key to this game.

We’re switching it up a little bit today.
