The Timberwolves have won two games this season against the Nuggets and are sitting on a four game win streak against Denver.

Karl-Anthony Towns has to be the answer against this hot Denver squad. He’s usually been the answer for the Wolves since the Butler injury, but these next few games will be telling of Towns’ potential for the future.

In the past ten games, Towns is averaging a nice clip of 26.1 PPG, 12.3 boards, and shooting 52% from the field. The only deterrent to his success has been his inconsistency on the defensive end, expect Nikola Jokic “The Joker” to take advantage of Towns’ deficiencies. Moreover, Towns may attack the lack of defense that the joker presents, as he and Jokic are two of the worst defenders in the NBA. Jokic is averaging eerily similar numbers to Towns over his past ten games, 25.1 PPG, 11.3 boards, and shooting 52% from the field.

We may have a case of that infamous spider-man meme, but we’ll see.

This is a must-win game, time to give it your all, Wolves.
