Here’s what the Timberwolves must do to beat the Rockets
Wiggins Shows Up and Silences His Doubters
Jimmy Butler and Karl-Anthony Towns are two vital keys for the Wolves. Those two, for the most part, will dictate how far the team can go. However, it won’t be either one of those two that can be the deciding factor in whether or not the Wolves can take down the Rockets.
Andrew Wiggins has had a rough year. Both statistically and the non-stop doubting from some fans and media. This series is his time to shine as he will be the deciding factor.
The Rockets will most likely hone in on Butler and Towns as they are the top offensive weapons on the Wolves. For Wiggins, that means those two will be looking to him for help whenever they need.
Besides, Wiggins already came up in the must win game against the Nuggets.
Not only did those free throws seal the deal for the Wolves, they also gave some hope. Hope that Wiggins, who struggles from the line, can come up big time in big moments. More so there is hope he can come up when the lights are at their brightest in the playoffs.
This is why he was so hyped coming out of the University of Kansas, for games like these. This is his first chance to show the world that they have been wrong about him all season. He can show he can play 100 percent on defense each time down the court while hitting shots when need be.
With that, he can back up the hype that has followed him since his teenage playing days.

Of course, he won’t be the only factor that determines if the Wolves move on. But Wiggins might just be the biggest factor as the Wolves’ third scoring option and a true x-factor in this series.
