Aaron Holiday is a steal in the 2018 NBA Draft. Barely measuring in at 6’1″, Holiday scared a lot of scouts at his combines where he didn’t impress due to a lack of size.

With players like Trae Young getting a lot of flack for their physical intangibles, or lack-thereof, Aaron Holiday may fall in that category. I believe he is a top-ten pick in the draft, but ultimately is being overlooked by far too many.

Not only was Holiday a great play maker for UCLA, but also one of the best 3-point shooters in the country, shooting close to 43 percent from the arc. The Utah Jazz would have to use Holiday off the bench and they’ll definitely need the firing power without having Rodney Hood come off and help next season.

With Holiday and Dante Exum playing the back court off the bench for the Jazz, you can expect a lot of fun lineups in the future.

Aaron Holiday can be seen here playing as a Damian Lillard type point guard for the Bruins, coming off screens and shooting deep-3’s and pulling up from 30 feet. Not only the shooting ability, Holiday seems to have the IQ of a Goran Dragic type player, being able to take defenders to the basket and give them thousands of fakes.

At the end of the day, you’re getting an experienced competitor that has a ton of upside in Aaron Holiday, who also has family in the NBA – so he gets how the league works. This guy is another steal in the draft.
