The Bulls may have my new favorite starting lineup with this pick. Consisting of Kris Dunn, Zach LaVine, Wendell Carter Jr., Lauri Markkanen, and Bobby Portis, that lineup makes my NBA League Pass tingle.

This 19-year-old screams Blake Griffin potential, but with no injury concerns (mainly having to do with his young age). With his height and weight, Carter Jr. could even slide over to the center position , if need be.

In this case, we get a guy like Blake Griffin who can shoot spot-up 3’s with ease, something Griffin has been trying to do for years.

Not that this is fair, but Carter Jr. even has signs of a ceiling Antetounkoumpo type player – which would be insane on this Bulls roster when Markkanen looks like he may be the next Dirk Nowitizki.

What he lacks is his timing as a defender, it seems like he needs a good defensive coach to help him decide when to make certain jumps under the basket – mostly not to foul others too quickly or give up any easy baskets.

Overall, the Chicago Bulls just need life, and if Wendell Carter Jr. is anything, he is life for an organization.
