Goran Dragić averaged close to 22 points per game and over 45 percent from the arc when playing the Timberwolves last season, with a win/loss ratio of 3-1.
You can expect similar numbers – but all year long – with Jimmy Butler next to him. Dragić plays a fast paced game, and with the Timberwolves starting lineup averaging one of the quicker lineups down the floor in the league, his offense could fit the team perfectly.
A starting lineup of Goran Dragić , Jimmy Butler, Andrew Wiggins, Taj Gibson, and Karl-Anthony Towns would be extremely dangerous. The Timberwolves looked tired and hurt against the Houston Rockets last season in the playoffs, and with the newly acquired rookies and Anthony Tolliver, the Wolves are looking to balance this roster off more.
Head coach Tom Thibodeau could reign in this roster and let Butler and Dragić spearhead it as KAT does his business under and above the rim.
The only question mark will be if Andrew Wiggins can solve his inconsistency problem, and if he can, this lineup could potentially face off against the Houston Rockets and hope to create some problems for the Golden state Warriors.
