3. Timberwolves at Los Angeles Lakers

Wed, Nov. 7 at 9:30 p.m. CT

Channel: ESPN

Now that James is in a purple-and-gold uniform, all eyes will be on the Los Angeles Lakers.

This game will be the second time (out of four total) the Timberwolves will face the Lakers to this point of the season.

An intriguing storyline to watch will be whether or not Wiggins continues his surge against The King. Wiggins has always performed well against the Cleveland Cavaliers, but will that continue now that James is in L.A.?

This matchup also has intrigue because the Lakers could be looking at Butler as a possible trade candidate. There will surely be something of a storyline surrounding this possibility come Nov. 7.

The Lakers draw a sellout crowd for each and every game, and L.A. plus The King will only shine more light on the Timberwolves. The Lakers have a lot of young promise and the Wolves will get an early look at how far they’ve come since last season.

Minnesota might not have the same success as least year with James in L.A.; the four-game from last season doesn’t mean nearly as much with LBJ in Hollywood.

Let’s see how everything plays out.
