2. Timberwolves vs. Oklahoma City Thunder

Channel: ABC

This game holds intrigue because it’s a divisional game down the stretch of the regular season, and it’s the Wolves’ only game televised on broadcast TV (ABC).

Plus, any time these two teams square off, it’s sure to be an exciting game. And you don’t need to look too far back for proof. In fact, just look at the first meeting of the 2017-18 season, only a few days into the campaign.

Wiggins hit the game-winner as the time expired and the Wolves were victorious. Minnesota was 3-1 against the Oklahoma City Thunder last season with all games decided by less than three points save for the Jan. 10 Wolves victory with a final score of 104-88.

Carmelo Anthony is no longer on the team and it will be interesting to see if that is a better fit for OKC. Regardless, a Big Three of Russell Westbrook, Paul George and Steven Adams is scary for anyone in the Western Conference.

It’s always fun to see Westbrook and PG13 play the game of basketball. If it’s anything like last season, then Minnesota must win this game; they could very well be fighting for a chance at the playoffs.

The Thunder will likely be fighting with the Wolves for home court advantage this season. With the playoffs and potential seeding on the line, both of these teams will be jostling for positioning in the Western Conference.
