If you’re thinking this trade would be impossible, you’re pretty much correct. It’s definitely possible and logistically legal, but the Lakers would never trade Brandon Ingram and Lonzo Ball, that’s why the Wolves are sending two first round picks to LA.

The Timberwolves would get Brandon Ingram to pair next to Andrew Wiggins and Lonzo Ball to play off the bench, or even use as another asset for a future trade. The Timberwolves would have to release two players off their bench to make this work as well, so it’s a crazy trade.

The Lakers would only do this if they had confirmation somehow from Jimmy Butler that he would re-sign, and we all know how big LeBron is on playing with Butler as he’s said how impressed he is by his play.

Next. Jimmy Butler trade ideas to the Miami Heat. dark

We also know how much JB wants to play in Los Angeles, so it’s a possibility.

This is the worst trade of the ones I’ve done, but I had to stay true to our regiment we’ve had down, even if it’s a fantasy.

Our next post will deal with the Sacramento Kings, Dallas Mavericks, Memphis Grizzlies and Phoenix Suns. Tune in tomorrow for that post, as I’m sure your excited to see all of the draft picks those teams would send for Jimmy Butler!
