Seeing Jimmy Butler get sent off to the Sacramento Kings would be one of the biggest slaps in the face in NBA history, especially getting back the terrible haul that I’ve created above.

The positives to a deal like this for the Wolves is obviously getting rid of immature Butler and Gorgui Dieng’s contract, and while a lot of you are fans of Dieng, it’s too much money to keep on your payroll when you’re trying to rebuild over the next year.

Buddy Hield is a solid shooting guard with a lot of upside, Hield could potentially play very well next to Andrew Wiggins, spreading out the floor isn’t exactly what Minnesota is accustomed to over the past few seasons. Zach Randolph and Iman Shumpert are cap fillers but they’d potentially have a spot off the bench.

The 2021 unprotected first round pick would definitely be a mistake for Sacramento, unless they really want Butler. Mostly because they’ve been trading assets such as picks for several years now, making it more difficult to rebuild.

The Kings get Jimmy Butler and hope to build around him and their young talent in Sacramento. However, I’d argue there are zero scenario’s where Butler would stay with the Kings.

Up next we have the Phoenix Suns, pairing up Devin Booker and Jimmy Butler sounds like a Suns dream come true.
