Just like our prior trade, this move might have to happen with another draft pick for reassurance. This is a tough move for Memphis, they love their guard Mike Conley, but they’d probably love winning more.

The Memphis Grizzlies get Jimmy Butler, Jeff Teague, and Gorgui Dieng, which totally revamps their roster. Conley is one of the more heralded unappreciated guards by most NBA analysts, a lot like Kyle Lowry.

The Timberwolves could utilize Conley and hope that his veteran abilities could help build the youth in Wiggins and Towns, also allowing players like Tyus Jones and Josh Okogie to get more minutes this season.

JaMychal Green is a fantastic asset on a great 1-year deal, he can pretty much play the 3-5 a lot like James Johnson for the Miami Heat, and has the potential to be a really good role player on a playoff team.

Tom Thibodeau is a 'expletive'. dark. Next

Dillon Brooks on the other hand is more of a prospect, but at times has shown signs of being a very good shooting guard off the bench. He’s only a second year player and has a lot to prove, but using Derrick Rose at shooting guard off the bench all season may not be the best idea for the Wolves moving forward.

Overall, all of these deals look pretty good. We’re hoping that the Wolves could make a deal for better assets, like the ones rumored in Miami – time will tell in Minnesota.
