The Minnesota Timberwolves are welcoming back jerseys from last season, bringing back an old classic, and introducing at least one new addition.

Nike took over the reigns of NBA jerseys prior to last season, coinciding with the Minnesota TImberwolves‘ jersey redesign.

Heading into 2018-19, the Icon, Association and Statement jerseys will all be returning in Minnesota, while it seems we may have seen the last of the gray City Edition threads for the time being.

Also coming back will be this blast from the past, which you may remember as what is arguably the Wolves’ most iconic jersey of all-time.

The Classic Edition threads will make their debut this fall, and Nike also promises a ‘New Edition’ will be announced soon. This will likely take awhile, similar to the gray City Edition jerseys from last season; there appears to be a stretch of six games in March reserved for these yet-to-be-seen designs.

Guessing aside, here is what the official Wolves schedule tells us about when we’ll see each jersey this upcoming season:

The blue Icon Edition will first be seen in the Wolves’ first three games to open the season, on its way to 30 appearances throughout the year. We’ll be seeing a fair bit of it before the end of the calendar year, with 13 of its appearances coming between now and Christmas.

While we’ll only see it twice in March, the Icon Edition will be back in time to see the Wolves’ off in the regular season finale against Denver on April 10.

The white Association Edition jerseys will see heavy use for the rest of 2018, but taper off in 2019 for a total of 22 appearances. The jersey will be the Wolves’ most-used for the first portion of the season, being worn for 14 games before Christmas.

With its first appearance against the Pacers on Oct. 22 and its last against the Blazers on April 1, the Association Edition seems to be the jersey of choice for winnable games for the Wolves, with other appearances including games against Brooklyn, Phoenix, Sacramento and Cleveland locked in.

Last up for the Nike returnees, the Statement Edition will be back but in sparing use this season, with just six appearances scheduled, averaging about once per month. We won’t see the bright green threads until Nov. 24 against the Bulls, and after its second appearance on Dec. 1 it won’t return until Jan. 12.

The new/old Classic Edition Jerseys will make 10 appearances in the upcoming season, although interestingly enough only half of them will be at home. The first time we’ll get to see the Classic Edition threads is in a home game against Utah on Oct. 31, and we’ll also see them at home in the penultimate game of the season against Toronto on April 9.

We’ll be seeing the Classic Edition plenty in a few blocks of games, with a four-game stretch between Dec. 30th and Jan. 4th all in the jersey and a three-out-of-four stretch between Feb. 27 and March 5.

There are still 14 dates that are yet-to-be-announced, which could mean that the unseen New Edition sees the floor as early as Nov. 16. It could also mean that one of the existing four designs are announced in the near-term and the New Edition isn’t revealed until 2019. The last of the unknown dates is April 5.
