Kyle Kuzma is a walking highlight reel

The trade above would have to be made after December 15th, which is the restriction date to move both Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Rajon Rondo

Kyle Kuzma is a bucket-getter and is averaging 20 points per game shooting 47 percent from the field, and while this trade features Caldwell-Pope, Rondo, and a first round pick, Kuzma is the reason you make this deal if you Tom Thibodeau.

It’s also important to note that Kuzma comes off the bench for Brandon Ingram, so the Lakers can definitely let go of this stud.

‘Kuz’ as Lakers fans like to call him, is a real threat on the offensive end. Like most of our past trade ideas, we’ve been trading Jimmy Butler for a long forward, letting Andrew Wiggins move to shooting guard where he looks more comfortable.

The Lakers should make this deal for a few reasons.

  1. Get rid of the spitting Rajon Rondo in exchange for Tyus Jones, a solid back up point guard.
  2. Acquire Jimmy Butler and sign him to a max-extension in the summer.
  3. Caldwell-Pope’s contract can be moved to save cap for another good player next summer.

The Timberwolves obviously make this deal for the potential of a first round pick and a solid 23-year old to pair up with the future of your franchise in Towns and Wiggins.
