Is Caris LeVert turning into the next Victor Oladipo?

In 4 games for the Brooklyn Nets, Caris LeVert has quietly made himself into a bonafide star in New York – and we’re noticing it.

While averaging 21 points per game and shooting close to 60 percent from the field, LeVert has already hit a game-winning basket against the Brooklyn rivaled New York Knicks – making him a larger star in the big apple.

The Nets get their All-Star in Jimmy Butler and he’ll likely bring other talents there if he re-signs. Pairing him with D’Angelo Russell and Jarrett Allen seems like a nice future in the Eastern Conference for Brooklyn.

Next. Can anyone trust Jimmy Butler?. dark

The Wolves could utilize LeVert at the guard or wing position, also allowing 3-point knock out Allen Crabbe to come off the bench and spread the floor.

Overall, this is my favorite deal because it’s in the “moment,” and a lot like the Victor Oladipo trade that sent Paul George to Oklahoma City, people could be surprised to see how great LeVert can become once the “moment” has passed – much like Oladipo and how he carried on his great play.

Or, we’re terribly wrong and this move just allows Minnesota to have a deeper roster of average/above average talent, which I’m totally fine with at this point.

Save us Caris, you’re our only hope.
