The only difference here would make Tom Thibodeau the happiest man on the planet with PJ Tucker getting moved to Minny.

This move would make the Wolves more well rounded going into the next few seasons and they wouldn’t have to hope/wait for those draft picks to turn into assets in the future, plus the defensive prowess of Tucker will make Thibs quiver.

In conclusion, both of these deals seem overly amazing to the point it feels like I’m dreaming and this Butler drama is over, but if anything is for certain, it’s never over when Thibs is on the phone.

Furthermore, I would also note that Marquese Chriss and Brandon Knight can’t be moved until October 31st, which is fairly soon.

The Rockets may be offering those four draft picks because they may be re-selling those former-Suns players for Jimmy Butler to keep Eric Gordon and/or PJ Tucker.

If that’s the case, be ready for some craziness over the next week or so.
