Jimmy Butler traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder

Let’s just say that if the Oklahoma City Thunder can’t make Russell Westbrook, Paul George, Steven Adams, and Jimmy Butler work, there are some REAL issues with Westbrook – not the team.

This deal could potentially break the internet and is quite possibly the only move I can see that would take down the Golden State Warriors. Unfortunately, it’s the only deal that I could come up with and still can’t see Minnesota pulling the trigger.

The Timberwolves would get one of the best (if not the best) defensive players of the past five years in Andre Roberson, sharpshooter Alex Abrines, and a young prospect (a bit like Josh Okogie) in Terrence Ferguson.

The deal also includes two (later) draft picks going to Minnesota that the Wolves won’t see come to fruition for a long time.

Ultimately, this is a really well-rounded team that the Wolves would hypothetically have after making this deal. But, there have to be way too many other options that could help the Wolves in different facets of the game in more positive ways.

As for the Thunder, wow.

Jimmy Butler and Russell Westbrook sounds like the two guys you don’t want to get on the bad side of, good thing Paul George and Steven Adams are as passive (when it comes to teammates) as it comes.

It could potentially be a deal that would finally let the Thunder forget they had Durant, Westbrook, and Harden on the same team (3 MVP’s, in case you forgot).
