Minnesota Timberwolves: Jimmy Butler trades to all 30 NBA teams

Jimmy Butler traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers
The Cleveland Cavaliers have announced that Kevin Love will be out for close to two months with a toe injury, which just screams tanking.
While tanking can work for most teams to get in first few picks, the upcoming talent pool isn’t a guaranteed great one. So a nice move the Cavs could make would be to blow up their old LeBron squad and take Jimmy Butler and Gorgui Dieng.
The Wolves would acquire Cedi Osman who would most certainly become a starter and slide next to Andrew Wiggins.
The Wolves would then have the opportunity to have J.R. Smith and Kyle Korver off the bench to torch opponents from downtown when-need-be. And finally Tristan Thompson can restart his career in Minnesota where he could get his three point plays solely on the court.
The 2021 unprotected first is just protection, in case nothing works out for Cleveland and they become the old Cavs between the two LeBron stints where they drafted Kyrie Irving and Andrew Wiggins (which is a possibility).
And while Collin Sexton, Jimmy Butler, and Kevin Love doesn’t sound like a great idea. They still have their upcoming firsts over the next few seasons to get some youth with, it’s a possible team to watch out for, especially with the J.R. news that broke yesterday saying he wants out of Cleveland – I guess we all do?
The biggest problem with this deal is that the Cavs don’t move the bar that much and would still be fighting for the eighth seed to make the playoffs.
