It’s difficult to tell between these All-Star players who would have the better fit on the currently constructed Washington Wizards’ roster, let’s hope that Bradley Beal takes the cake and fits the best in Minnesota.

Jimmy Butler’s ability to shoot the ball and facilitate at the wing can lighten up John Wall’s stress as the full-time point guard position. With Austin Rivers not impressing anyone off the bench, as Rivers is more of a shoot-first guard.

Butler is also a much better defender than Beal, and has proved that he can be more than a spot up shooter in this league. In fact, the 4-time All Defensive wing could potentially push the Wizards guard John Wall and create one of the best back court defenses in the league.

John Wall and Jimmy Butler is also a gamble just based on personality, but the with Butler only finishing out his last year on his contract, it may be worth the test to sell high on Beal in his prime.

Worst case scenario for Washington is that they pay both John Wall and Jimmy Butler at 33-years-old $45 million to play 50 regular season games and getting kicked out of the first round in the 2023 post season – which is a valid fear.

Best case scenario is that the lineup clicks and Butler pulls this team together and gets them back at the top of the Eastern Conference.

As for Minnesota, this is a perfect fit.

The Wolves need consistent scoring from the perimeter and Bradley Beal bring that every single night. Beal is averaging 23.8 PPG, 4.0 TRB, and 3.8 AST – with shooting splits of 47.8/38.9/75.0. and an efficiency field goal percentage of 56.3.

The Wolves, much like the Wiz, just need to balance their personalities and rosters more, and both of these deals can potentially do that.

In conclusion, this move gets a B+ from me.

Our last move is for Otto Porter, who’s been one of the more underutilized, and solid players around the league this season.
