Derrick Rose has become a newfound celebrity in the basketball world where he was deliberately once forgotten.

Whether it was the Halloween night of the 2018 season where the Minnesota Timberwolves beat the Utah Jazz 128-125 led by Derrick Rose’s 50 point performance, or the astounding transformation he’s has made since his injury years back, D-Rose has become a legend and will go down in the books as one of the greatest comeback stories of all time.

Why leave him out of the All-Star conversation in 2019 when the elite of the basketball community recognize his stardom this year too?

LeBron James chimes in on the windy city assassin below:

If you’d like to see the mirage of social media love that Rose got from around the league, click here.

Frankly, the basketball gods cannot allow D-Rose to not be in the 2019 All-Star game. We are all witnessing history with Rose’s comeback and what he’s currently doing for the Wolves organization, essentially being a glue to that team that has needed a stable star for so long.

I could go on to talk about what Rose means to Minnesota and their franchise, but I’ll just leave this video below which encompasses the true meaning of what it feels like to have resiliency and finally feeling like your hard work is paying off:

Ultimately, Rose will have to hope that he has a chance to be chosen by head coaches around the league to be an All-Star.

Due to the amount of insane talent there is in the backcourts of the NBA, this doesn’t look likely, even if he’s deserving of a reserve spot.

But don’t lose hope, because Derrick Rose doesn’t believe in losing hope.
