2. Fire Up the Rumor Mill

The Timberwolves have a very interesting offseason ahead of them. Most of the roster will be hitting free agency, changes to the front office are likely to be made, and the status of Ryan Saunders as head coach is still to be decided.

With so many questions concerning the future of the franchise, it’s easy for fans to be discouraged and unenthusiastic. The team is in desperate need of fun talking points as the regular season comes to a close and an extremely important offseason begins.

I want to see Timberwolves’ nation come together and start a few crazy rumors that make headline news. Maybe Kevin Garnett will be spotted at a game, clearly meaning he’s buying the team. Or perhaps Kawhi Leonard talking to Towns is a clear indicator that he wants to join Minnesota in the summer. To be fair, he doesn’t like to talk much so why join a big market team like Los Angeles?

Maybe Minnesota has thrown their name into the Anthony Davis sweepstakes in an effort to have the most dangerous frontcourt in league history. If Davis had problems with front office management in New Orleans then I’m sure things will be fine as a member of the drama show known as the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Let’s have fun and start some wild rumors that get the major media outlets talking. Wolves’ nation could use a few exciting talking points that can get fans dreaming of the future instead of focusing on the disappointment of this season. If we’re lucky, maybe some of the rumors become reality and the Timberwolves’ 2019 offseason becomes a spectacle to behold.
