The Minnesota Timberwolves have announced which courts they’ll be refurbishing across the state. Plus, the Budweiser Legendary Moment of the Year was released by the team.

The Minnesota Timberwolves‘ court refurbishment program, presented by U.S. Bank, featured a fan vote to help determine which outdoor courts across the state would be updated. Those four courts were just announced by the team.

The program divided the state up into four regions: North, Central, South, and Twin Cities. Each region had courts as finalists to be voted on to win the refurbishment.

This week, the Timberwolves announced which court in each region would be refurbished. The list can be found here. Kudos to the Wolves and U.S. Bank for a great program that will no doubt make a difference across the state.

Shifting gears, the team also announced the Budweiser Legendary Moment of the Year, which was also voted on by fans.

Perhaps not surprisingly, the choice was a buzzer-beating game-winner from a fan favorite.

That’s Derrick Rose, slaying the Phoenix Suns with a turn-back-the-clock step-back jumper to lift the Wolves to the win.

It isn’t like the Wolves had all that many individual plays to choose from; the Anthony Tolliver block of Giannis Antetokounmpo comes to mind, but that’s just as much because of how shocking and unexpected the play was.

Karl-Anthony Towns and Andrew Wiggins each had individually great games, and Josh Okogie had a few memorable performances on the Target Center floor, including the massive block on James Harden in a nationally-televised game.

There was also the Rose 50-point game in the Halloween win over the Utah Jazz. It was also the first night the team wore the Classic jerseys, the KG-era black alternates with evergreen tree trim.

At any rate, it’s hard to complain about the fan’s selection. Of course, we have no idea at this point whether or not Rose will return as he hits restricted free agency this summer and will surely command more than the veteran’s minimum that the Wolves landed him for last year.

But before we can get to free agency, we’ll have to get through the NBA Draft. Stay tuned as we gear up for the Wolves’ No. 11 pick over the next few weeks…
