With the No. 6 pick in the 2019 NBA Draft, the Minnesota Timberwolves selected Texas Tech’s Jarrett Culver. What’s to love about their new versatile wing?

Earlier on draft night, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported that Minnesota Timberwolves President of Basketball Operations Gersson Rosas traded away the Dario Saric and Wolves’ No. 11 selection in the draft to the Phoenix Suns for their No. 6 pick, which paved the way for Minnesota to select Jarrett Culver.

Jarrett Culver, the No. 1 prospect (not including Zion Williamson, Ja Morant, and R.J. Barrett) on my Big Board, is the newest member of the Timberwolves.

Culver is heralded as a terrific all-around prospect that can defend multiple positions and score at all three levels. Ironically, Jarrett has drawn comparisons to a young, drama-less, Jimmy Butler.

Interestingly enough, Culver will pick up in the very city where his college career at Texas Tech came to a close in the National Championship in April.

Now, let’s dive into the three reasons Wolves fans will love seeing Jarrett Culver at Target Center next season.
