Development of Young Players
Investing in the youth on this roster and helping each of them develop their game should be the number one goal for the Wolves this season, and training camp is an important time for that to occur.
The headliner here will be sixth overall pick Jarrett Culver who seems to be a moldable lump of clay that Minnesota’s coaching staff is eager to work with.
Culver showed that he has the potential to be a true three-and-D wing during his two years at Texas Tech, and his work as the number one ball-handler on a national runner-up team shows that he could be even more than that at the next level.
Can Josh Okogie take another step forward in year two after showing plenty of promise in his rookie year?
Will Keita Bates-Diop enter the full-time rotation this year after flashing some talent near the end of last season?
Can Naz Reid make the 15-man roster after a strong showing in Summer League?
These will all be questions that we can begin to answer as we hear who’s standing out in training camp as well as who shows out during their five preseason matchups.
