The Minnesota Timberwolves released the first installment of a video series highlighting their rookies, as well as the second episode in their Track the Pack series.

The Minnesota Timberwolves have long had one of the better digital and video departments in the league, and things have only seemed to improve in recent months.

The Wolves released the first episode of their Track the Pack nearly two months ago, and have finally followed it up with Episode 2.

After the first episode centered around the draft and the team’s drafting of Jarrett Culver, as well as the subsequent Las Vegas Summer League, the second episode is a summary of the Wolves’ trip to the Bahamas back in August.

While the trip was otherwise well-documented around social media, this is a documentary-style, 17-minute video that is extremely well done.

Here’s the synopsis of the video, which is a 30-second teaser with quotes from Karl-Anthony Towns, Robert Covington, and Andrew Wiggins.

And now, for the video in its entirety:

As stated when the first episode went live, good on the Wolves organization for putting these videos out there. They provide plenty of background on the team and some of the individual players and allow fans more of a full picture of guys that they may otherwise only get to know through their on-court play.

Another series is underway, too: The Rookies. The first episode gives us a look at rookie Jarrett Culver’s selections as he decorates his new apartment in Minnesota.

Of course, media day on Monday will offer plenty more opportunity for fans to see some behind-the-scenes looks, as Kyle Ratke and the rest of the Wolves’ digital content team will cover the entire event extensively on social media and Timberwolves.com.

Then, training camp begins on Tuesday with a couple of days in Mankato before it returns to Mayo Clinic square. The team typically puts plenty of news out there surrounding training camp as well, so stay tuned as the week rolls on.

And then, preseason starts, one week from Tuesday at Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix against Ricky Rubio and the Suns, followed quickly be Wolves-Warriors at the new arena in San Francisco on Thursday, Oct. 10.

It’s finally here, folks. Now, fans in the Twin Cities will have to choose between watching Wolves preseason and Minnesota Twins playoff baseball. What a world…
