The Sacramento Kings are another interesting team for the 2020 NBA Draft. They have many young players at almost every position and may just look to add ‘glue’ guys rather than take a big swing at a low-floor-high-ceiling player. Patrick Williams is one of the more intriguing fits in this draft.

Patrick Williams is one of the most athletic forwards in this draft. Paired with his ability to hit three-point shots and his defensive versatility, it’s hard not to see Williams make an impact during the course of his career. On the Kings in particular, Williams could play alongside franchise big Marvin Bagley very well, and would give the team a much-needed defensive presence inside.

Williams is another piece to a really young core that will look to push for the playoffs in 2020-21. De’Aaron Fox, Buddy Hield, and Bagley are all quality players but the Kings need guys to do the ‘dirty work’. Williams brings exactly that.
