34. Scouting Report. 14. player. Pick Analysis. Forward. Auburn. Isaac Okoro

14. Portland Trail Blazers – Isaac Okoro, Forward, Auburn

The Portland Trail Blazers need two-way ability from the forward positions. In the past, Evan Turner has not been able to deliver the goods. Historically, they have been at their best when they are able to get steady contributions from their front court. Isaac Okoro is a player that could end up being one of the best in this class.

Isaac Okoro is an incredible defender. He can guard almost anyone from 1-4. He has great ability when it comes to scoring at the rim, can functionally be either a half-court or full-court facilitator, and has been clutch when Auburn needed him the most. The shooting is where he struggles though. Okoro has not been able to consistently score from outside, and it has really hindered his entire offensive game. He often disappears in games and struggles to consistently affect that end of the floor.

However, if he is on the board when the Trail Blazers are selecting, they should not hesitate in picking him. Okoro would bring much-needed defense to the front-court and, should the shot eventually come around, he could be a top-3 player from this draft class.
