One of the hardest scenarios to predict is who the Cleveland Cavaliers would select if they were awarded the first overall selection. After taking two point guards in the past two drafts, they desperately need more along the wings. While Kevin Porter Jr. is promising, Anthony Edwards is almost certainly going to have a scoring punch.

The Cavs would likely be choosing between Edwards, Onyeka Okongwu, James Wiseman, and LaMelo Ball. While none of those players fit them perfectly, they take the player with one of the highest ceilings. Edwards is an intriguing prospect, and should he improve upon his defensive awareness and ability to affect winning, he could be a very good player down the road.

Cleveland is in a rebuilding phase. With some long term pieces around at almost every position, it is hard to determine what the team is going to do this offseason, especially in the draft. That said, Edwards will likely be the player if they win the lottery.
