Players 46-50
46. Jaden McDaniels, Forward, Washington
47. Mason Jones, Guard, Arkansas
48. Tyrell Terry, Guard, Stanford
49. Isaiah Joe, Wing, Arkansas
50. Corey Kispert, Forward, Gonzaga
Jaden McDaniels entered the season as a top-10 recruit. As a 6-foot-10 forward that brought a variety of offensive skills, he seemed promising as the season opened. But his overall effort on the defensive end is really troubling. For a player of his size, he struggles finishing at the rim as well. McDaniels also does not produce the outside shooting numbers you want from a power forward in today’s league, either.
Mason Jones, Tyrell Terry, and Isaiah Joe are all excellent shooters. They all have really intriguing offensive skill sets. All three, though, struggle defensively. Terry is an interesting player. He is a very high-IQ guy that should make an impact offensively. That said, I can’t imagine he’s even going to be remotely playable on defense. At 6-foot-2, 160 pounds, even an offensively inept guard should have no trouble scoring against Terry.
