In this offseason simulation, the Minnesota Timberwolves landed numerous rotational players and dramatically improved their odds at a playoff bid in 2020-21. Landing three complimentary rotational pieces through the draft will absolutely help the Timberwolves both in the short and long term.

Drafted W Elijah Hughes with the 33rd overall pick in the NBA Draft.
Re-signed Jordan McLaughlin on a two-year, $10 million contract.
Brought back Juan Hernangomez on a qualifying offer.
Re-signed Malik Beasley to a four-year, $60 million contract.
Signed Jakob Poeltl to a two-year, $10 million contract.
Signed Moe Harkless to a one-year, $3 million contract.
Traded Omari Spellman, James Johnson, Jake Layman, Jacob Evans, and two second-round picks to the Los Angeles Lakers in exchange for Danny Green and Quinn Cook.
