Karl-Anthony Towns hypothetical trades: Oklahoma City Thunder

The main asset that the Timberwolves would be gaining is Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. He alone is a spectacular young player that has proven to be productive regardless of what setting he is in. Gilgeous-Alexander is already one of the best guards at finishing at the rim and was arguably the second-best player on the Thunder this past year.

Dennis Schroder is another rotational player that can play playoff basketball. While he may not be a starter, Schroder is electric off of the bench and an impact player. Darius Bazley was not spectacular this past year for the Thunder, but does project to be an interesting long-term forward prospect.

Of course, there are also two Clippers’ picks involved. While Los Angeles does have both Paul George and Kawhi Leonard under contract until 2021, the question remains of whether they will retain both following that season, and if that is not the case, those two picks could be very valuable.
