Cole Anthony should not fall as far as he does here. The Spurs are in a good spot in terms of being able to select any player that falls down the board. Anthony, despite all his faults, is an athletic combo-guard that gives effort on both sides of the ball.

Cole Anthony has been knocked because of his shooting splits, advanced defensive numbers, as well as his inability to win basketball games at North Carolina. But the fact that he has two elite traits at two very translatable skills should be enough to get him selected in the top-five. He won’t be, but he should absolutely be considered.

The Spurs, once again, get a steal.
