player. Scouting Report. Center. Onyeka Okongwu. 156. Pick Analysis. USC. 5

The Cleveland Cavaliers need more talent. Currently, they have an interesting young core consisting of three main players: Darius Garland, Collin Sexton, and Kevin Porter. Finding a front court player that can play high-level defense would drastically help that young core.

Okongwu is an uber-mobile player that can effect both ends of the floor. Though the Cavs already have Andre Drummond, he should by no means be seen as the long-term solution, and Okongwu is more-than-capable of stepping in instantly.

While the Cavaliers have not made the best decisions in the past, I would be more than willing to bet Okongwu is the selection should he be available.
