3. Potential 3-and-D big

The Minnesota Timberwolves still need a long-term frontcourt complement to Karl-Anthony Towns. Wendell Carter is an interesting young player that has had a plethora of injury issues. Carter, though, will be going into his third NBA season this coming year. Over the course of his career, he has averaged 11 points, eight rebounds, and one block.

The Bulls are projected to own the seventh overall pick in the 2020 NBA draft. If they intend on picking a center (either James Wiseman or Onyeka Okongwu), they could look to deal Carter. Landing another young asset in Jarrett Culver could be one of the more favorable options given the improvements he made to his game towards the end of last season.

The Bulls are in need of more wing/forward players, and Culver is an interesting fit, as he brings passing and defensive upside. The shooting was drastically better at the end of last season, so it will be interesting to see if that holds going forward.
