Stats with Wolves

  • Six seasons, 337 games
  • 9.9 points, 3.2 rebounds,1.8 assists, 1.5 steals per game

Yes, Corey Brewer is still in the league, making his way onto the Sacramento Kings roster in time for the bubble in Orlando.

Brewer is now officially a prolific NBA journeyman, playing for his eigth team in his 13th year in the league. Or, as Timberwolves play-by-play announcer Dave Benz would call him, Flight 13.

Think back to when Kevin Love was essentially throwing full-court passes night-in and night-out. His number one receiver? Corey Brewer. Before it was Love to LeBron it was Love to Brewer. He was a one-man fast break and always seemed to give to the Wolves a jolt of energy.

Brewer will always be remembered for his 51-point night against the Houston Rockets in April of 2014. Ready for a throwback? The starting lineup that night: Rubio, Brewer, Robbie Hummel, Dante Cunningham, and Gorgui Dieng.
