6. player. 125. . PG/SG. Atlanta Hawks. Tyrese Haliburton

Tyrese Haliburton is the perfect selection for the Atlanta Hawks. Haliburton is a lengthy combo-guard that can either run the second unit in Atlanta or play off of Trae Young at the two-guard.

Haliburton brings high-level shooting (despite weird form), spectacular off-ball defense, and incredible passing ability. It is very unlikely that he does not contribute at some level in the NBA, and the Hawks will be in perfect position to select him in this year’s draft.

The Hawks have a plethora of young talent already: the aforementioned Trae Young, Kevin Hurter, DeAndre Hunter, and Cam Reddish. Finding a complementary guard that can also run a bench unit will absolutely benefit the team – one that might look to make a playoff run this coming season.
