NBA Mock Draft 4.0: Wolves with the first pick, Knicks take Vassell
The Detroit Pistons need, quite literally, everything. After selling the farm for a Blake Griffin-Andre Drummond-led team, the Pistons made one (1) playoff appearance as the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference.
Now, looking to rebuild, the Pistons have Luke Kennard and Sekou Doumbouya to build around. While Kennard will be up for an extension soon enough, Doumbouya is still very young and has to continue to get better to even become a consistent rotational player.
Killian Hayes is a pass-first, high-IQ player that has drastically improved his shooting over the course of his time in Europe. Hayes is an excellent off-ball defender and consistently makes the right play. He would slot right in to start for Detroit, and can do so at either guard spot.
