The Minnesota Timberwolves could look to make a huge splash this offseason and move their two most valuable assets in a blockbuster trade.

In three weeks, the Minnesota Timberwolves will make a franchise-altering decision.

The No. 1 selection in the NBA Draft is theirs, and the Wolves will select a young star to pair with Karl-Anthony Towns and D’Angelo Russell, or possibly choose to trade the pick in a package for a veteran to help the team win now.

But what would happen if the Wolves decide to push all their chips in the middle of the table and go all-in to win this season? What would a trade look like if the Wolves call front offices around the league to offer up Towns and the No. 1 pick in a blockbuster package?

Towns and the top pick are two highly-coveted trade assets that could net a huge star in return for the Wolves.

Towns is a 24-year-old two-time All-Star with four years left on his contract. In most years, the No. 1 pick itself is enough to draw a huge star in a trade, but there are no consensus, slam-dunk superstar prospects in the 2020 draft.

That said, a pairing of a young star in Towns and the chance to draft an extremely young potential impact player would have most GMs thrilled and should be able to net one of the best players in the league.

But how high can it go? Who is the best player in the league that the Wolves could pry from their current teams with this trade package, and which players in the league are completely untouchable?
