18. . Forward/Big. Boston Celtics. Precious Achiuwa. 14. player

I could very well see the Boston Celtics moving up in this draft simply because they own three first round picks. If they stay put, Achiuwa would be an interesting selection. In the playoffs, the Celtics were able to run 5-out sets with Kemba Walker/Marcus Smart/Jaylen Brown/Jayson Tatum on the floor together. The fifth player varied, but was typically either Gordon Hayward or Daniel Theis.

What Achiuwa does is brings switch-ability and mobility to the center position. He would give Boston another matchup advantage and transition nightmare. While Achiuwa’s draft range is all over the place, his success as a player could largely hinge on which team he ends up being selected to.

The Boston Celtics have proven consistently that they are a forward-thinking organization, and Brad Stevens in particular could be the perfect coach for Achiuwa. Adding him to the team gives them a another long-term prospect to be invested in, in addition to the many young players already on their roster.
