James Wiseman. 5. player. 156. . Big. Cleveland Cavaliers

The Cleveland Cavaliers are one of the most interesting teams when it comes to this draft. They are bad. Really bad. But they also have very unique needs that need to be addressed – and after taking a point guard with two consecutive top ten picks, they have displayed a willingness to select the best overall player – regardless of position.

In this case, most teams will have James Wiseman pegged as the top player after he falls out of the top three. Andre Drummond seems to only be the short-term option for the Cavaliers as Wiseman would eventually take over as starter.

Wiseman is a lengthy, promising big man that has lots of potential as a defensive-minded center. Though he has shown some ability to stretch the floor, he did not display it during his three games at Memphis. Wiseman is one of the biggest questions in this draft class, and Cleveland selecting him here is a huge, huge risk. That said, it could also pay off very well, especially in a draft with not much talent at the top.
