Lead Guard. Detroit Pistons. Killian Hayes. 7. player. 64.

Detroit Pistons fans have been clamoring for Killian Hayes on twitter ever since the season ended. And it makes sense. Hayes would be a great pick for a team that has no long-term facilitator on the roster. He would work well with Luke Kennard, who has proven to be a valuable asset moving forward.

Hayes is a pass-first combo-guard that does not have any single weakness. He’s good at almost anything. Though he could be a little more explosive, Hayes is efficient both passing and shooting, and is an incredible off-ball defender. The Pistons need to add so much talent to their roster, and Hayes could be the guy to jump-start their rebuild, especially if the team is able to dump what’s left of Blake Griffin.

Other options with this pick include Onyeka Okongwu, Isaac Okoro, and Cole Anthony. Regardless, Hayes is seen as a safe pick that will at the very least be a rotation-level player. The upside is enough to warrant a top-7 pick.
