THE GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS

The Minnesota Timberwolves really have no incentive to make a trade with the Golden State Warriors – who would probably take Memphis center James Wiseman with this selection. The Timberwolves still could get their top overall player, and the Warriors would essentially just be protecting themselves from another team moving up for the first pick and selecting the player that they desire.

The Minnesota Timberwolves not only get their choice of LaMelo Ball or Anthony Edwards, but also get a player that should be able to become a rotational forward in the future. A trade with Golden State is not likely in the slightest, but if something similar to this deal is offered, the Timberwolves should jump all over it.

Paschall averaged 14 points, five rebounds, and two assists per game this past season but needs to improve his 3-point efficiency in order to become a player that can play rotationally in meaningful minutes. He had an impressive rookie season but needs to continue to build on his progress.
