November 17th: The Minnesota Timberwolves have not made a decision with what they are going to do with the first overall pick – but it is seemingly down to Anthony Edwards and LaMelo Ball, per Sam Vecenie of the Athletic [subscription required].

November 16th: James Wiseman has not interacted much with the Timberwolves. This comes after he refused to work out with Minnesota due to fit issues with he and franchise centerpiece Karl-Anthony Towns.

"“Wiseman: “In terms of talking to them, I haven’t”"

November 13th: Timberwolves maintain interest in Aaron Gordon, per Darren Wolfson.

"“The Wolves had trade interest in Aaron Gordon of Orlando back in February. My sense is that has not changed.”"

November 11th: The Minnesota Timberwolves are attempting to acquire a second lottery pick, per the Ringer’s Kevin O’Connor.

"“They’ve had talks with the Hawks for #6. A possible deal could include Jarrett Culver and #17. A number of teams are interested in Atlanta’s #6 pick – the Pelicans and Celtics among them, sources say.”"

November 7th: The Charlotte Hornets may be interested in acquiring the first overall pick in order to select Memphis center James Wiseman, per Bleacher Report’s Jonathan Wasserman.

"“However, sources also say the Charlotte Hornets ‘want Wiseman badly,’ a plausible belief given the team’s established backcourt and need for a big man.”"
