JaMYCHAL GREEN

JaMychal Green is an interesting name to watch in free agency. He did not put up much in terms of counting stats, but he absolutely makes an impact on the court.

Green is a really good floor spacer in addition to being a positive defender. He shot roughly 39-percent from three in a low usage role (roughly 20 minutes per game), and never had to create his own offense, playing alongside Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, Lou Williams, and Montezl Harrell.

Green is not particularly mobile and can play either the power forward or center position. Ideally, though, he would be able to share the floor with Towns and be a nice kick-out option for both Ricky Rubio and D’Angelo Russell.

The Minnesota Timberwolves need every aspect of Green’s game that he has to offer. He should not cost more than what the Wolves are able to afford, either. At 30-years old, he is not the youngest option, but he is not at the point of his career which most would expect a lot of regression.

Green only averaged about seven points and six rebounds, but the skills which he brings to the table would absolutely benefit the Timberwolves.
