The mildest trade of the three is this one – where the Timberwolves acquire John Collins, a player that is in a contract season but brings a lot from an offensive standpoint. While the Hawks are seemingly attempting to make the playoffs in the Eastern Conference, they face a dilemma of whether Collins is going to be worth keeping at the price that he is going to command.

John Collins averaged over 20 points and ten rebounds for the Hawks this past season, but for a team that had the talent that they did vs. where they ended at the end of the season, his stats may have been more-so just because Atlanta did not have much front-court help.

Collins is a pure swing on upside, he’s an athletic freak that can score in a variety of ways but does not bring much of anything on defense. Still, he is absolutely worth the price if this is a trade that could net him.
